So I didn't find too much, but I did find some more records. I think I have an unhealthy addiction to records or something. I mean I don't buy all the Ray Coniff records I see or Polka Parties, if I did I would need more shelves! I do though buy some of my favorites like blues, jazz, and motown. I'm just glad records don't cost a whole lot. I do have a problem with Goodwills prices, they are a toe over to high. I bouhgt 6 records for almost $7.00. While I went to the other local thrift store I got 12 records for $2.50. I mean come on it is not like there is a high demand for records. It is cheap in general but this happens everytime I go to Goodwill I spend like $50.00 on just 5 or 6 items in the store. It doesn't even make up for the stamp card they give me. Anyway! Here are pics of the things I picked up.
So I had an old Samsonite suitcase I bought for $2.00. The lining was a little dirty from water stains. I had and dress that didn't fit me anymore so I took some...
MOD PODGE
And started working on it. Here it is....
I like it I think it is at least something I can put stuff in because i'm running out of room...
I am part vintage vixen and part antique maiden. I love the bombshells of the 1920s-1950s. But I also love the 1700s thru the early 1900s. I love thrift stores. One day I'll have Billie Holiday in the CD player the next I would have Bach or Beethoven on the record player. I love to read old classics like Dracula but starlet bios on Clara Bow. I love old china with tea time but can also do the twist. Part Marilyn Monroe and Marie Antoinette.I'm just an old fashion gal sharing her thoughts and likes in hope you like them to!
